What we collect
Three categories of information pass through this site. Each one exists to deliver a specific thing you asked for.
- Lead-magnet signup. When you request the free Module 1 preview on
/free, we collect the name and email you type into the form. The signup is stored in our database and used to send you the lead magnet and the welcome drip.
- Post-purchase signup. After you complete a Stripe Checkout, the Stripe success URL redirects you to
/thank-you. If you submit your email in the optional capture form there, we record it under the same email_signups table with source = 'thank-you'.
- Stripe checkout metadata. Stripe's hosted Checkout collects your name, email, billing address, and payment method directly. On successful checkout, Stripe sends us back a session identifier, the amount paid, and the tier purchased. We store the price and tier on the
users table to track access.
- Analytics events. A small anonymous pixel beacon from Polsia Analytics fires on every page load. It writes a random visitor ID to your browser's
localStorage and sends the slug and visitor ID back to polsia.com. We use it to count visits, not to identify you personally.
How we use it
- Deliver the lead magnet. Your name and email from
/free are used to send you the Module 1 preview and a short follow-up.
- Run the 5-step welcome drip. After signup, a series of five emails fires over two weeks. Step 1 sends inline at signup; steps 2-5 are picked up by the cron-driven
jobs/welcome-drip.js worker and sent via the Polsia email proxy. The drip is the only automated marketing email sequence we run.
- Fulfill course access. Stripe checkout metadata (tier, payment status) determines which modules and bonuses you can access. We don't store your card number — Stripe holds it.
- Send purchase receipts. Stripe sends the payment receipt automatically. We don't resend it from our side.
Third-party processors
We share the minimum data each one needs to do its job:
- Stripe — payments. Processes your card and charges the purchase price. Returns a session ID, amount, and tier to us. Stripe's privacy policy covers what they collect.
- Polsia email proxy — transactional and drip email. Sends the welcome series and any reply-required notifications from
https://polsia.com/api/proxy/email/*.
- Polsia cron dispatcher — scheduled background work. Runs
jobs/welcome-drip.js on a schedule to deliver drip steps 2 through 5.
- Polsia Analytics — anonymous visit counting. Receives the slug and a random visitor ID per page load.
- Cloudflare R2 — image hosting. Serves the photos and graphics on this site. No personal data passes through R2.
Retention
Email signup records are retained while your account is active. If you unsubscribe from the drip or request deletion, we remove your row from email_signups and tell our email provider to drop you from the contact list. Stripe retains payment records for as long as required by tax and financial regulations (typically seven years) — that's outside our control and covered by Stripe's own retention policy.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe. Every drip email includes a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom.
- Ask us to delete your data. Send a note using the contact path below and we'll remove your signup record and stop future sends.
- Disable analytics. The Polsia Analytics pixel writes a random ID to your browser's
localStorage. You can clear it from your browser settings at any time.
Contact
Questions, deletion requests, or anything else about your data — reply to any email we've sent you, or reach the team via the contact path listed in your purchase receipt. We respond within a few business days.
