The fine print, plainly
A plain-language overview of the course license, refund policy, what we ask of you, and where to go with billing questions.
Your purchase is a personal-use license. It covers you, the individual who bought it, for as long as you want to use it — lifetime access, on any device you own. It's not transferable — don't share your login, your PDFs, or your video access with anyone outside your household.
What's included:
No resale. No redistribution. No uploading our PDFs or videos to a shared drive, file-share, group chat, or anywhere else other people can reach them. No teaching our course as your own, no repackaging it, no copying the scripts into a paid product of your own. The course content — videos, PDFs, scripts, workbooks, slide decks — is copyrighted by Be The Steady Mom. The license above is the only permission you have to use it.
A full refund is available within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked. Email the address listed in your purchase receipt and your money is returned. I'd rather you get the money back than feel stuck with something that didn't fit — that's the whole point of the policy.
The course and any 1:1 coaching sessions are educational. They teach communication skills and response frameworks. They are not psychotherapy, counseling, legal advice, financial advice, or a substitute for professional care of any kind. If you need clinical mental health support, a licensed therapist. If you need legal counsel on a custody matter, a family law attorney. Beth is a certified co-parenting coach — her training and the method she teaches are not a replacement for either.
Use the materials for your own learning. Don't share them. Don't claim authorship. If you find a typo or broken link, tell us — we appreciate it. If you cancel a scheduled 1:1 coaching call, give us at least 24 hours notice when you can; we'll reschedule.
All purchases are processed through Stripe. For billing disputes, refunds, or chargeback questions, reply to the email receipt you got from Stripe — it has the merchant contact link in it — or use the dispute path in your Stripe account. We respond to refund requests sent to the address in your receipt within a few business days.
Anything else — license questions, refund requests, content takedowns — reply to any email we've sent you, or use the contact path in your purchase receipt. We read everything.
